Picadilly Equestrian Team
WHAT IS IEA?
IEA is a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to introducing and promoting lifelong involvement in equestrian athletics.
IEA utilizes a unique draw-based team competition format whereby riders are not required to own their own horse or riding tack to participate – providing greater affordability and access to the sport.
IEA has nearly 15,000 members across the United States riding and coaching 3 disciplines – HUNT SEAT, WESTERN and DRESSAGE.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Riders in Grades 4-12.
Amateur Riders age 21 and older.
Coaches 21 and older.
Adult Contributing Members (non-riding).
Junior Education Members (non-riding).
Middle School Teams – Grades 4-8.
Upper School Teams – Grades 9-12.
Teams consist of 3 to 40 riders in the same age group (Middle or Upper) and a coach.
Riders of all experience levels from Beginner Walk-Trot to Varsity Open.
Show season runs August – June.
